It took Hughes three years to have a good record (34-21) while in ACC play.
Hartman was teetering on mediocrity for many years. He had some good years record wise mixed in but that was not during the ACC era. Once the ACC kicked in, Hartman looked really bad. So Hughes took over a bad program. Hartman should have been replaced much earlier.
Hughes went 40-22 in his fourth year which is exactly where he fell in his last year. Then when Mason took over, ever hear of a lead balloon21-31. [Post edited by IB4TECH at 05/26/2018 5:14PM]
